Dave Williams blog

I came across the work of Dave Williams today. He has a nice take on Adam and Eve at his blog.

http://davewilliamsdesigns.blogspot.com/2009/10/adam-eve-illustrations-part-1.html

This take on Adam and Eve would be great with early elementary kids and would add a fun, humorous approach to the story in Genesis.

Always remember the artist owns the copyright, so ask first before using anything.

Cartoon: Wet and Wild Wednesday

Spear- Cartoon 3496

Cartoon of a parent with registrar and child. Parent says, “’Wet and Wild Wednesday’ was last week? We thought it was today. Can’t you round up a water slide for him?”

When I drew up this idea, I was thinking of a water event we had at our church a few weeks ago. The event was for elementary age kids. A cute preschooler came prepared to join in the fun. We couldn't let the poor guy miss out on the fun. This four-year old was in the midst of the inflatable water slides and games having a ball. It made the event.

Ask permission if you would like to use this cartoon. I will provide a watermark free image.

I drew this in Adobe Illustrator CS2

Boy eats an ice cream cone

What is more satisfying on a summer day than an ice cream cone? Judging by the look of the dog and boy, I'd say nothing else would cut it.

I drew this in Adobe Illustrator CS3. It is for a project with Warner Press. To order this image, you can contact them at wporders@warnerpress.org.
